I contacted my friends in FL about the Salmon Faverolles. Both Donna and Marks birds are not laying right now, but Mark has a friend he is going to contact who may have some. So why is everyones birds not laying? My husband replied to this question by saying, "Daa, they are women!" I don't think that was funny.....hahahahah
 
I don't why they aren't laying I only have one older hen that is laying and two young hens that are laying out of eleven hens

My flock has staggered ages in 3 groups: 27wks, 21wks &12wks. Both of my 27 wk old EE and my 21wk old Gold Laced Wyandotte are all laying almost daily. Oh and your husband's response sounds like something my hubby would say followed of course with a Mama Stink Eye look" from me lol.

Yay! Finally got both coops finished so the adults are already nearly settled into their coop and the 4 babies are about to spend their first night in theirs! It will be the first night in over 3 months I'll get to sleep without little chirps and squawks putting me to sleep and waking me up.

I wasn't going to do another hatch this year so late in the season, but my son is going to Fl and i asked him to pick me up some real rumpless, turfed Araucanas, some Croad Langshans and some Serama hatching eggs. Will add some of my own eggs from my new blue egg gene carrying rooster over my green egg layers.
