YO GEORGIANS! :)

Anyone local looking for a game roo? I have one too many and would like to sell him. He will be 30 weeks old Saturday. Trying to get an updated pic of him but he is choosing to be camera shy! Here's a pic from months ago. Make me an offer- may even take a trade for him. Thanks

Hate to let him go but I was told I can't have another coop!

I have 2 LF Cochin cockerels for sale. One blue and one splash, both born the end of May and hatched from the Star Cochin line. Both are beautiful but I hatched 5 boys and 1 hen...a couple of Roos have to go. Tyrone, GA, local pick-up only. $15 each. The blue is crowing but the splash has yet to make a sound.

OMG! They are wonderful! Love the Splash and his great 'pants'!

Day 21 here at newbie Tolbunt Central. 1 hatched at 5:30pm yesterday, 1 just before 5am this morning & hubby helped one out while I was at work that pipped yesterday AM but as of 3pm today only had the tip of its beak poking through the little pip hole. I came in and he said good your home because I'm done...hey who asked in the first place lol....but this big ole heart of his through all of my chicken issues is why I gave him the Rooster he had been wanting. Hubby evidently is reading my chicken books while I'm away. He said he helped this chick the way the book said and there was no blood etc. Okay.... but he went on to say you may need to cull it (notice the YOU part) because it does not look right...it does not look like the other two. Okay I walked in and headed straight for the incubator, hey I'm already in scrubs so I might as well get to what ever needs doing. Lo and behold the little thing was shiny and had large chunks of shell stuck to it's foot and back side. No wonder it could not move right and looked off. I gave it a warm bath, wrapped back up in a warm towel for it's trip to the incubator and plopped it back in to finish. It is proceeding normally so far. All three have straight toes and good beaks. There are 4 left that have not pipped, of course the way the others are rolling them around like bumper cars the pip could be on the bottom. As I said today is day 21 so I will give them until Sunday and be happy for the wee ones that have come in to the world so far.

They are beautiful! I need to learn to build coops by myself so that I can get different breeds. Hope you find good homes for them soon.

Thank you both so much! I hope I find a home for them too. Hubby doesn't want to process them and just wants me to "release them into the wild". I think he's lost his mind lol.
