YO GEORGIANS! :)

Question..Are Tolbunts and other Polish chickens considered "bantam size"? I am trying to purchase numbered leg bandetts. They come in #7 (7/16") fits most Bantam breeds, #9 (9/16") fits most standard breed hens, #11 (11/16") fits most standard roosters and #12 fits large roosters. I have Polish hens and roos. I am lost as to which size is the right to purchase, any clues?
polish come in bantam and large fowl. I would guess they would be about the same as a Leghorn, they aren't usually heavy birds. I would suggest measuring the legs of some of your birds

Gah! The stupid transformer across the street just blew. Yeah, and I have eggs in the bator and chicks in the brooder. Really? This happens about once a month, and it's really aggravating! Stupid Southern Rivers Energy! :(

You've probably had this happen before since you say it's common, but just wanted to say we lost power for twelve HOURS my last duck run- in the last?- i think- week of development. They were all fine! And they got cold too. :( So cold that movement was barely visible once power came back. Good luck!! Thinking "powerful" thoughts! ;)

Thanks. Yeah it usually does it in the first week which is why I set on the 10th. Who knows, maybe the cool down will give me a better hatch rate. Lol. I'm mostly worried about the outdoor brooder.

Oh dear- yes, I forgot about the littles. Well, hopefully it's not like here. In my county, when the power goes out, strap in for the long haul. It's truly ridiculous sometimes. But luckily not all too frequent.

We did go buy a generator after the outage with my bator though. Well I think of it as because of my bator; I'm sure hubby thinks of it as, because of the length of the outage.

Good morning, GFG!! Anyone got great plans today? I'm fighting off a small beginner headache, wanting to go to church but NOT wanting to get back up lol.
