I shared this on the coop thread.. But I'm so excited about my new coop coming hopefully this week!! It's basically finished at this point, we just have to get it to the house and see how much metal we need for the roof and get that. Them pick out paint! Which we may go do today.

Just texted my "dealer" (LMBO) this morning.. Asked her to hold some eggs for me as soon as she's sure of her fertility. I started out with BCM.. Then said aw heck if you're making a list then throw me on the Gold Laced Brahma list too. She sent back the OK followed by, "you're addicted".. Ha! Guilty. :/

@carcar80 people say in a big hatch, your more likely to get boys. But I've only had small hatches and one boy. So I guess the majority will be boys?

Huh. That's interesting. I hatched Pekins last summer for my dad. It was a small hatch. Ended up with one drake and the rest ducks!

I think I'll stick with small hatches! LOL
