YO GEORGIANS! :)

LTygress, that was quite a break down. Thanks. We actually bought from John once. We didn't have any problems but I see the craigslist warnings about him all the time.

When you mentioned your geese you said "expensive". How much are they? If I still have room maybe I'll add them to the list later.

Eastern Turkeys are being listed in BST. The seller is out of Douglas, Georgia. I replied a little while ago, so it that thread should be close to the top if you want to let your person know about it.

car.... I'm in Paulding County.

You were lucky then! I got chicks with Coryza.

Sebastopols tend to go for $65 EACH, per chick. But the lady I am getting mine from sells eggs for $20 each, or three for $50. And hers have won several state fair shows. And for $65, it covers three eggs plus shipping.

However, she had her son pass away last year and I told her keep the money and we would try later. I all but forgot about it. But two weeks ago, she called me to let me know the 2014 laying season was coming up, and wanted to know if I was still interested!

I was shocked that despite it being almost a full year with no contact, she remembered, and honored the order. But for waiting so long, she is sending an extra 2 or 3 eggs!

So yeah, she's definitely at the very top of my list!

And.. Just putting this out there.. Looks like I'll be covered over with Pekin eggs this year if anyone wants those.
We need to talk ... I do egg hatching programs with local schools and can always use more Pekin eggs.
