YO GEORGIANS! :)

Ok, LTygress, we need to discuss reptile incubation at some point in the future!

Your conservation turtle project intrigues me; I had a 6 -7 yr. old Red Foot Tortoise that I lost two Christmas eve's ago. I miss her, but that is such a huge commitment with their lifespan and care requirements -I don't think I could start over. My son and I wanted Garter snakes, but we settled on designer Kingsnakes instead. I have a pair that is almost breeding ready -just waiting on the girl to get some more girth to her.

I have my poultry plans in place for this year; now I'm working on rabbits... which brings me to: Abmaddox, how about those Rex?! I neeeeeed a rex fix; got pics? Stats (color/pedigree or not/etc)?

My culling did not go as planned. My poor NZ doe, on closer examination of the doe and the bloody mass under her cage, was carrying a small litter I missed :(. She appears to have had 4-5 kits, and eaten them -leaving just the placentas under her cage. The poor thing's first experience as a mom was not good, and I didn't help much -nor did the weather. So, I granted her a reprieve, it's the least I could do. I nearly culled the buck next to her though -the jerk sprayed me while i was examining the doe :mad:.

I also added at least two of my three EE roos to the list. They are all mean, but I'm wondering if just one will chill without the others. Right now they are too mean to let them roam or even use for breeding, so they're just taking up a whole coop and eating. I'm over that.

:D If this mud doesn't dry up, that tom will need webbed feet -and let's not even talk about the poor guy's feathers.

Nice! I can explain a bit of it when I see you.

@Chickie Momma I got you covered. I've got mrsdszoo coming over here on Monday to get some babies too. Another guy is coming over today to get a full dozen. And then random here-and-there's after that. But the end of March should be EASY to plan for!

@abmaddox1981 Climate-controlled storage unit... hmm....

It turns out of all the breeds I HAVE and all the breeds I plan to get in the near future... I have two listed on the CRITICAL section of ALBC's list, and one listed under THREATENED.

My sumatras sure are making things NON-CRITICAL here, though!

Can't wait for the Phoenix to get his own hens though. And the Sultans are way out on the list, but they ARE on my list! One day...
