Should I even try to incubate this?

Let the seller know about the cracked one. Most times, they'll at least replace that one. But I would give it a try, myself. At least a shot at developing.

I did let the seller know. That's kinda what I planned. Should I just dump wax over that whole mess?

I used birthday candles, and as the wax burned, I more or less "drew" along the crack with the candle. Although occasionally the flame would go out because too I tried to move too fast, and put pressure on it, burying the flame in the wax that was already on the egg.
