What chick you sellin abmaddox??
.Somebody dropped off a beautiful pair of birdies that may or may not be making the trip to abmadd's place in the morning.
Holly may be happy to hear about that... until you find out just how evil WILD geese can be about their eggs
I just wish I could get another one. I had no idea that it was illegal to own a Canada goose in Georgia.
Gotta be smarter than what you're working with. :/I am trying this posting on a phone thing..... It is a PITA.
On a side note.... The Canada Geese have arrived on our farm. We were told when we bought the place that a nesting pair returns each year.
That's just hurtful.
Buy one from Efowl or Purely Poultry ... or just about anywhere else, it seems. lol Only the wild ones are protected. Domestically bred/raised ones are fine.I just wish I could get another one. I had no idea that it was illegal to own a Canada goose in Georgia.
That's just hurtful.
Awww.....poor RoboDuck
I ga done too. The female laid the egg and then just up and left. So I said well it's been a few days, why not throw it into the incubator and see what happens. So I hatched little ole goosey goose off and raised him/her. Then one day I left him/her out and my neighbors dog chased him/her off and hasn't been back since. We would him back in the woods honking but he kept quiet and we saw him fly over a few times. I think he took up with some other geese and we might find him/her in the pool with a mate, maybe evens few little ones in about a year or two.
