YO GEORGIANS! :)

No sign of eggs yet from my turkey girls, or my silkie, or my Ameraucanas :(. The empty cage where my best bunny buck lived is miserable to look at. Also, no new job. So ends another day :p. The good news though: my back feels much better, and my thumb is only a little sore from the dog bite (and I got a bunch of free snake food in compensation) AND... we are just four days from HATCH DAY for hatch #3!! Yay!! I just candled them, and they all look good except for one or two air cells that I would like to be a little bigger.

No ma'am no Rhode Island reds. We do have some cute little cochin bantam hens though. I have a pretty production red hen I could sell you. They are not exactly like Rhode Island reds but still very pretty and lay gobs of large brown eggs.

Oh, I know. I have 6 production reds, they are great! I've got at least 6 bantams now, again, would have to do a physical head count.... and that's not happening again any time soon. He just loves the RIR's look, we saw some recently and now he's wanting them. Even asked me if I got any from Tractor Supply today!

Lol! The only chicks they had at the tractor supply I went to in Rome were golden laced wyandottes. They were cute though. I could catch up a pen of hens and let you look and see if I have something you are interested in on Saturday. I'm sure you will find something you like. :D

In addition to the hatching/chick madness that spreads like wildfire around here, I've been dealing with bunny fever. Since my favorite buck is gone, I'm looking for a really nice purebred Mini Rex buck. If you could all keep your eyes and ears open, I'd appreciate it. I'll probably hit up upcoming rabbit shows, but no one really wants to part with nice stock, so that's a long shot :/
