YO GEORGIANS! :)

Pretty good selection. I am attempting to get down to the breeds I really love and only focusing on improving my stock. Last year I ended up with a ton of hatchery stock birds I couldn't even sell because they didn't look pure bred. The problem is, choosing my faves. I love them all! I am planning on having ameraucanas, English Orpingtons, mille fleur D'uccles, porcelain D'uccles, silkies, LF Cochins and frizzled Cochins, ...etc. I have a pretty decent start. Letting go of extra stock that I have made pets of is my problem.

Do you currently have Frizzles? If so, what colors?

Hey all! I'm new to BYC! I live in the Appling area/CSRA. We recently moved to GA, bought a house in the country and I am starting my own little homestead! Our first chicks will be here next week and I'm beyond excited!

I'd love to have some chicken lover friends in the area that can teach this newbie the ropes. :)

I just left that area! Sorta. I was in "MAHR tin ez"

But screw that, it's "mar TEEN ez" to me. D*mn founder's first name was Jose, so they can't tell me it's not pronounced in the spanish version! LOL!

Good morning!! I live in central Ga. Near Griffin. Construction of coop and run is almost finished. Nice to meet y'all !!!

What breeds do you have?

Anybody here know about hatching turkeys? I looked up Porter's guide but 80% humidity at hatch sounds awfully high.
I can try to so some research for you this afternoon. But I just got called in to work, so I'm heading out soon and need to get ready.

I got all excited that I got called in to work.... and I don't have to be there until 9:30. Two and a half hours notice. Not bad!

It's a trick!!! That's what "they" said about duckies too and I apparently drowned the poor little things in their eggs. It's a wet bulb/dry bulb thing. (Should have just stayed with what was working for me before.
