Hey Everyone! Haven't been on in a while, but was just reading up on what's been going on. Welcome to the new members!!

I see quite a few new members, but it's hard to know where everyone is unless they mention their location. I'm in Ellijay, in the mountains and currently have just the 3 hens and one Seabright Roo. Haven't seen any signs of illness in the remaining flock so we are safe, thank goodness. I can't wait until spring and then I'm EXPANDING. lol
All the Silkie pictures are just ADORABLE

and I really enjoy seeing everyone's babies. Thanks so much for sharing.

We're decorating here and when I'm in the yard working, the flock follows me around, interested in everything that I do. Lately, if I leave the gate to the front porch open, the flock comes up to the front door and calls out to me to come outside and bring treats! Whoda-thunk?

i am currently in pa heading back to ga as soon as we find a place but my brother lives in blairesville so i know where ellijay is ..funny to see it mentioned is all ...

I know you've been busy getting your place all decorated for your guests. I'm glad to hear your remaining chickens are all better. I can't wait to see your new additions come spring. Are you going to get eggs and have a broody hatch them or what are your plans? My babies are 10 weeks old and getting sooooo big now. I just love them. Have a great weekend.

Didn't know about it I think I'm going to wait until the show in February and go then. I would of loved to have gone to the show they just had in Dalton but my mother was up all night and hence I was up all night and was too exhausted to drive that far. If you go let us know what kind of fun you had!!!

Yes I will be glad to get out of the god awful cold !!! and into my own place ..love the in laws but i was used to living on my own ..... we want to be somewhere between my brother and jonesboro .... all my chickens but my EE girls and one silkie roo will be coming with me ... i love all mine too ..who doesn't ?!? lol
