There is the Chicken Swap of Georgia but its a closed group you have to be added to it. If you give me the link to your profile I can see if I can add you. :)

Also if anyone is interested I have some chickens and eggs for sale.

It's been an undertaking that has drawn people at my work place and family in to this feathered world who never thought they would have the slightest interest. I'm a Medical Assistant/OM/etc during the week. My patients and co-workers all ask for updates and I've even got my Doctor up on chicken parts lol. Hubby kept saying this was all my project and now he is as protective and as into the little ones as I am. Shoot even our big male GS gave a chick a lick yesterday. The chick did not appreciate it and ummm we are still trying to decide it it was a welcome to our farm kiss or a taste test.
 
I have some golden l laced polish chicks I got from cackle I would be willing to trade to someone for a different breed would have to meet up in baxley though
 
Since we have been in sevdre drought for a few years now I can't complain about the rain, the pond is up so will be good fishing (even if it's so high its in the yard), and the trees look good this year. I want to finish my coop so I can move the girls out of the grow out coop.
 
Hi all, I usually do more reading than posting but I was wondering if anyone would have any ideas on hatching - I mean this is the second time I've tried and the first time everything went good, this time I don't know what happened. The bator started jumping temp.s and I've lost all my babies. I even had 2 silkies and they were lost as well. And yes they were fertile and they were developing fine until the stupid temp started flopping up and down! (and they were my own hens eggs, almost fell like I failed them to)
