YO GEORGIANS! :)

My Marans are all laying through the winter. In fact, my 3 youngest started laying after it got cold. None of my others have laid a single egg yet.

Blue Copper and Black Copper ... just hatched out some Splash chicks, too.

I have not sold hatching eggs yet and would need to separate my non-Marans roosters from the Marans for a while before I would feel comfortable selling any. Certainly well within the range of possibilities, though.

Just got an email through Craigslist of someone looking for chicken POOP in the Jackson area. I referred him here, so hopefully he'll post soon. But just so you all in this area are aware, he's looking for chicken poop, and I KNOW plenty of you have LOTS to get rid of!

I do, but with my big pen, it's more mud, disintegrated hay, and old feed, than just poop. I can easily start collecting some from just below the roosting bar, but in the meantime, you all are welcome to help him out!

I am going to have to do the same with my RIR's so I can hatch some pure breed. I have a mix and a seperate pen so that I can. I would love to have mainly RIR and my marans. I am going to hatch some eggs from the marans next year. I love having my chickies!
