YO GEORGIANS! :)

Ok, I've procrastinated enough...... time to go take care of farm business. Cull days are not so fun. I'm packing a nutella sandwich to bring with me, because somebody(ies) had to go and give me a craving.

*Whistles innocently*

So my white silkie just started laying two days ago (at least I'm pretty sure that was her that just started). But because of bath time this morning, she's currently sitting in a box on top of a trash can beside my desk, and apparently has no qualms now, about pushing an egg out right here beside me.

Awesome, let's work on getting him some company :)

He would be thrilled to have some company... When I originally got him, I purchased a buck that was for showing and this little guy was supposed to be a doe. He turned out to be a buck and is the sweetest thing, but he has a few flaws in his markings (nothing MAJOR, just nitpick things). He might be a good breeder. He has a really nice, round shape. And did I mention he is the sweetest thing?

Now, I don't have Dutch, but in about seven weeks I should have Mini Rex babies just about ready to go; I should have a birth announcement by Friday :).

Ok, I really am going now -I will come back and continue with the enabl...support... group this afternoon :)

SHE DID IT! My white silkie just successfully laid an egg in the box beside me!

For the first time ever (and maybe the last), I know exactly which silkie laid which egg! So on March 7th, I will almost definitely have a solid white silkie baby with two solid white parents! WOOHOO!

I need to go do some calculations to find out what possible colors the other one could throw. But it may just be black or black and white.

K, no matter what color parents the black one had, when bred to my white roo, she will only throw black or white offspring.

Oh well, MORE POTENTIAL FOR WHITE! I love my giant cottonballs!
