Called TSC here yesterday and they are suppose to have chicks in today! Im gonna call this morning and see. And I am going to go and get me an apple tree and a few blueberry bushes. Got some pics of my chicks, what do ya'll think they are? They are suppose to be blue and black copper marans.

They're so cute! LTygress and I are staging a raid at the griffin tsc this afternoon.

Well, my first reply on the duck thread suggests NOT hatching the ducks with the chicks. Wondering how a day-7 bator transfer to @GAMarans would work out??

Thanks! I may come home with some! Hope hubby don't get to mad, he doesn't feel good right now. We think he's got shingles. If they do have chicks me and my sister are going up there.

Thanks! So do I! I told him I'd make him a dr. appt for this afternoon and he said no. He is still working and being a baby like most men! LOL!

I don't give medicated. I also don't vaccinate. I want to breed hardiness and natural immunity into my flock. But it really boils down to what makes you the most comfortable. BYC member ChickenCanoe has awesome info on this stuff.
