YO GEORGIANS! :)

Okay! Are y'all ready? lol

First, I got another egg from my Lav AM this morning, so that makes four total from her tha I will set.

Then, I took my three Pekin eggs out of the bator, wrapped them snug and strapped them in for a ride to meet GAMarans! (Who is, btw, as lovely as the name implies :) ).. Worked out a little deal with HER and came away with these beauties:

THEN!! From THERE, I went to visit my "original dealer", the one who got me hooked on the feathered crack rocks originally. I HAD to see what all new breeds she has to show off. Annnddd I may have come away with four GOLD-LACED BRAHMA eggs. ***squeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!***

I_am SO. Excited! I'm about to set them all after I get a few details worked out. Here is a sampling of one of each egg, plus a piece of chocolate for reference :p

Okay guys. I'm about to throw these eggs in. But I want to do everything right. Is it best to lay them on their sides? Or cut down a carton? And do I start with trays full or dry?

PLEASE remember, this is a STILL AIR bator, the reason I hesitate to use a tray is bc I know it's warmer up higher. Don't want to fry them!

GoldenChick ... TSC in Dallas was covered up with runners this morning.

Carcar ... aren't you a sweetheart. It was very nice to meet you today. You'll have to keep us posted on those possible brahmas ... that's Roboduck's chicken of choice. (We should have chicks arriving tomorrow.)
