YO GEORGIANS! :)

That's an accurate description. He was brutal. He really isn't good for anything but the frying pan. So good luck catching him after I throw him out the window and leave him in your yard.

Is it bad there?? Nothing here yet but radar doesn't look near as ominous as when I went to sleep!!

A dream about the weather and my horse woke me up, lol. Which I'm glad, I needed to go check on him after being so weird earlier.

He was up at least. Still seems a little ill about not getting his full feeding last night, lol, and his tummy sounds better. So maybe now I can get a few more hours sleep.

Stay safe!!

Thundering pretty bad. I was having trouble sleeping anyway. Then this started. Aaaand in the amount of time it has taken me to type it is now pouring rain and the wind is kicking up. I guess I'll go make coffee.

Ok it's here now. Not severe yet but super heavy rain. In fact it sounds like it's rushing down the walls inside.. Which is possible in this house, lol.

Holy LORD, the wind!! I haven't seen any hens out my window yet. Sure hope the new coop holds up. :( There's a big limb that sits right over it too.. :/

@beckyb and buddy, is your yard fenced? Where I live (Spalding Co.) If your yard isn't fenced animal control can not do anything other than right a citation for violating the leash laws. If it is fenced, you can shoot the dog and tell the cop/ac worker it was attacking the chickens and you were afraid it would turn on you.
I was attacked in my yard by two Dobermans. I had to get into my van to get away from them. I called Fulton Co. Animal Control, and the police, and waited 45 minutes in my van with the dogs jumping on the drivers door trying to get at me. When Animal control came he actually tried to catch the big male by sticking the catch pole out his window. The female was dragging a chain which got tangled when they were attacking the van, and he was able to catch her once he got out of the vehicle. When he said "I am leaving now because I can't catch him", I said "you cant leave him at large, you need to shoot him or something". I told me that they "would not shoot the animal, and would charge me with animal cruelty if I did". The three times that I called 911 they said "stay in your car until animal control arrives". The officer that I requested never responded. The AC officer said that the female had a tag, and he was going to try to locate the owners. I called five times requesting information about the owners, and to see if the male had been caught. Each time they said that they didn't have that information, but would have someone call me. I'm still waiting...... months later. I didn't have a weapon then, but I do now and in the future I will not bother with Animal Control or 911.
