Shoot that's not bad I got 8 a year ago and we currently have over 50 if you count our chicks.New to forum posting... I hope I'm doing this right....I'm in Calhoun, GA (NW GA) and a year into being a chicken owner. I started with 7 this time last year, and now I'm up to 30.....My family thinks I'm crazy, but they never say no to the eggs!!!

I told her my idea about giving the eggs to her, and us just taking a few back (select breeds, maybe, either for resell or for breeding back to our flocks) and she said that was a perfect idea, so she wouldn't have to worry about finding homes for all of them!
If you're willing to give them up for good, let me know (in case any of the kids DO talk their parents into it). But otherwise, you can take the live chicks back when they are done.
