If I ever ran into someone that I think MIGHT need me to pronounce it "the southern way" so they would know where I was talking about, I would pause, pronounce it the spanish way, and then EXPLAIN myself right away so they would understand WHY I didn't say it the southern way.

Ok newbie question... Will my chickens eat the fire ants? Or do I still need to treat my property for them? We just bought this house and have a gazillion fire ant mounds.

Heard this before... Now obviously the granular stuff is poisonous if ingested, but the bag says safe for pets once dry. Do you think it's also safe for chickens once dry? My dogs eat the grass and dirt without issues and wild birds too...

Does anyone still have their TSC discount flyer? I THINK it expires on 3/2 so could someone please be sure I'm right??

Mine is in my car (at the stupid DEALER) and I left it in the back seat. Hubby says it would be easiest to wait til Friday to go get it, but I want to be sure it won't be expired- I'd be bent!!

Pretty good selection. I am attempting to get down to the breeds I really love and only focusing on improving my stock. Last year I ended up with a ton of hatchery stock birds I couldn't even sell because they didn't look pure bred. The problem is, choosing my faves. I love them all! I am planning on having ameraucanas, English Orpingtons, mille fleur D'uccles, porcelain D'uccles, silkies, LF Cochins and frizzled Cochins, ...etc. I have a pretty decent start. Letting go of extra stock that I have made pets of is my problem.

Hey! I'm in Tyrone, GA just south of the airport. I have LF Cochins too - BBS and whites. There don't seem to be many LF's in Georgia...not that I can find anyway. What varieties do you have?
