YO GEORGIANS! :)

That actually makes me nervous. I shipped out Frizzle eggs last year and I know for a fact they were fertile. But it turns out none of them hatched, and the person who received them was a veterinarian and told me it's probably because they didn't get enough oxygen during shipment (they only went to Canton). So I've been EXTREMELY cautious since then about sealing the bubble wrap completely around the eggs. Usually I wrap them as much as possible in paper products to allow for "breathing". So I put them in paper mache cartons and put a single layer of bubble wrap between the eggs and the lid to keep them still inside of the carton. Then I stuff shredded paper in the box as filler.

I'm really hoping yours hatch. I really, REALLY want to see the results of this color! Plus, it would prove that bubble wrap isn't as bad as the lady said, and I can use it again. (Although shredded paper really is cheaper since I'm always tossing junk mail in the shredder).
I've hatched all sorts of eggs that were shipped totally wrapped in bubble wrap plus taped all around. I also have friends who work at the post office who have actually seen postal workers shaking packages that say, "Hatching Eggs, handle with care" on them!!!! Hard to believe people can be such As!

My husband just told me o can have a 3rd incubator, that he will turn one of our out buildings into a hatchery and that I can get cotton patch geese! I think being on here has softened him up!

Can you adopt me?!? My DH has band me from hatching this year! (Except for other people as long as I don't keep any chicks!)

I received eggs wrapped like this as well...the bubble wrap completely covered the egg - no air opening. None were broken but only 4 of 12 began developing and only two of those hatched.

So I thought I had a free day today. WRONG. I forgot I told a friend of mine I'd help her cage some of her roos and ducks for the auction tomorrow. Oh, aaaand 2 of my white silkies that were gender ambiguous? Yeah. Both roos. The one with the small crest will be headed to the auction as well.
Ain't no rest for the wicked.

May I ask what auction you're attending and where? Have you been before and is it decent?

Buggy Town auction In Barnesville. It's okay, you just need to make sure you look over the cages before bidding starts.
