YO GEORGIANS! :)

LT, glad you have your eggs! ab, I'm so jealous of your hatchery plans! I'm with LT, working together to get your hatchery going sounds awesome. (Then we can work on my rabbitry? Just a thought...)

This thread never fails to make me at least smile each day -but I'm usually laughing out loud and trying not to choke on my coffee ;). I've been rolling around the idea of a Southside meet-up of sorts (anyone willing to drive from other parts would be welcome, of course); perhaps a bonfire potluck at my place? Any interest?

Sounds good to me!

Oh, and my early bird has company now. Two hatched, and the dog is under house arrest in his kennel. The second to hatch is named Chick Norris, because he went from pipped to hatched while I reheated my coffee in the microwave. When I looked back into the bator, the chick was all the way across the floor from its shell.

Adorable!! I friggin' LOVE the name!!

My standard answer to that is "go clean your room", but it's usually my kids making the announcement ;). Come help me stare at the ground by the rabbit barn and try to figure out the footprint for the expansion (and how the h3ll I'm going to get post holes dug)...

I would but I'm in high falls. :)

LOL! I'm technically working, but still bored. Good luck with the new project. You'll figure it all out, I'm sure ;)

Bored at work is the worst :P , and High Falls? There are worse places to be...

I'm trying to decide whether or not i can manage a gas-powered post hole digger myself, or if I should use the kill-yourself-slowly manual digger I used last time (which took me two weeks to dig six holes by myself). As you may have guessed, my husband is not an outdoors kind of guy, so we're talking solo build here. Anyone ever used one of those one-man post hole diggers?
