I've been up since 7 so I could get started on my day and get lots of things done. So far "things done" are pee and post. Anyone want to come over and start my new chicken pen with me? I'll even let you use the GOOD post hole diggers.

You have fun with that. I'm going to attempt to start a new chicken tractor. Anyone wanna borrow some kids so I can actually get something done?

I'm going back and forth now on the idea of BUILDING chicken pens, versus those canopies. The canopies can be moved around. MOST chicken pens can't. Building is a little bit cheaper. But the canopies don't require work either.

Where's "here"? We sold 60 acres in Crawfordville in order to buy our little farm closer to home. I loved having that place to myself. I could walk around or do whatever without having to worry about disturbing someone else's hunt. I no longer have my own place to hunt but the farm fulfills plenty of other wishes.
