LOL, I feed the deer in my back yard, just to drink coffe on my back porch and watch them in the mornings.

Yeah, we feed the deer at our place, too. No desire to shoot them. Funny that even though I love hunting, some deer are just off limits.

Ok, this place needs to liven up .... A LOT. I am sitting here in the doctor's office waiting on GAM to have a spine transplant and I am bored!

LOL. I hope she will feel good afterward, at least for a little while. If not from the transplant maybe at least from the sedation.

It's not much different than processing a chicken. Hang it neck down to bleed it then process it skinning is done after its empty.

Morning all! I got the call this morning that my chicks were at the post office waiting on me.  A day ahead of schedule.  I had to rush to get the brooder ready.  We were planning on doing  it today.  Thank goodness everything was together.  I'm upset though that 1 of the 2 heat lamp bulbs I bought doesn't work. I can't take it back because I need to keep one in the brooder! I guess I could buy another box at Tractor supply and then return the other box.

Anyway... on to the chicks! I ordered 15 and 16 were in the box(chicken math?).  They even put a heat pack in with them.  They are happy healthy and took to eating and drinking like champs.  I wish I knew what each one was so I could figure out who the extra is.
