It's going to be a fun evening with hubby!!! At least we will have a little daylight left when he gets home. I'll have a fire going in the pit, the beer cold and diner ready for him then relax by the fire and get plastered together. Life is good. I don't usually drink, but I miss him so what the heck

Okay guys. I have to figure out "operation rescue Marans eggs" today because this will be Hell Week at work and I won't have time to deal with it. (Side note- hubby is actually *interested* in how we are going to do this.. Whaaaat!)

Here's my first thought:

I can take a cooler, put a bowl of water in the bottom and a cake cooling rack over that. Put the eggs on the rack, then adjust my heat lamp to where my temp is correct at egg height.

What do we think? I set these eggs LATE Friday night and first hatch should be done by Saturday at which point these can re-enter the bator.

Drinking for a special occasion is ok. Unlike GAM who woke up and went straight to the liquor cabinet this morning. She claims Jim Beam is good for breakfast... grains.

We are not "drinkers".. We both go in spells. Hubby's usual drinking is a Marg with Mexican and maybe a fancy (as I call them) beer here and there. I like Coors Light when I do have one (key word: ONE), but I can't even remember the last time I had one.

Our friends laugh because they'll come over and open the fridge.. "Is that the SAME six-pack that was there last time we came over?" There'll be like one missing lol.
