Plan on being here for a good part of the day. It's a very pretty town and has lots of outdoor activities and a train that goes up to McCaysville. You get off and have lunch and return. Beautiful riverside trip. (go online)

Ah come one... you don't want to play tourist guide? But now that you mention McCaysville, I think we did a train ride about 10 years ago when our son was little. Isn't that the town that has the GA/TN line painted through the middle of it?

Yep. And near Copper Basin which is the area they could see from space because they had decimated all the trees for miles around. They have remedied that now.
Ten years is a long time. I'd say you were all ready for a train ride or a stroll through our lovely town with all the charming shops.
