That's where I am right now.  I know exactly what I want.  I just don't know how to take it from paper and make it show up in the real world.  I need a builder to come build it in exchange for chickens, ducks, geese, a little money and some exchanged labor.  Whatever it takes.  The guy that quoted me a price was right at $5,000.  I don't believe I will ever spend that kind of money on a place for chickens to sleep and poop.

You know,I keep forgetting -she's told me a dozen times now. She's a student a GA Southern, and there's a pretty good partnership with the foundation; they get their dogs from out of state on regular transports. As I understand it, GA is one of the states that gives dogs in training the full access that a working dog would have, so organizations will arrange transport here. Luckily, our family has had foster dogs for rescue groups too, so we have a little experience giving dogs up for their own good. (We also have two "foster failures", but who's counting?). Thanks for the kind words, I'll pass them on.

15 Light Brahmas and possibly the 4 older ducks. Barely a dent in the bird population but it'll be nice anyway. And looking to start moving some of the others outside here at the house, getting ready to move them to the farm, too.
