That's my girl Karmel, and she is actually an EE/white rock mix. Unfortunately, she lays brown eggs. But she is bred to an EE roo that should let the babies lay greenYes! I love the wheaten colors! I think mine will look like this one!

Yea, I argued with the lady at ruckers. Told her she shouldn't be selling her EEers as Araucanas. But, it was like talking to the wind.
So many EEers are that brownish color with gold around the neck...That is a very typical coloring. This one is whitish with the orange tips....but today it looks like she may have some bluish tones. EEers are one of my favorite type of chickens. They are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get! I have seen two totally different color EE grow to look like twins and I have seen yellow chicks grow to brownish black! Weird!
