good news is you can turn it into a coop when they outgrow it! I did that with ours!
I'm sure the post office will call you BRIGHT and EARLY!!! When I ordered 8 from my pet chicken a few years ago, the post office in Dawsonville called at 6:00 in the morning to let us know the chicks had arrived and to come get them. When we got there they had them ready for us to take home in the front. Needless to say they were happy to have them and the peeping goneDon't know. I don't remember having the option to add grow gel. I just hope they call early in the morning so we can go grab them and get some water in them.
If they are four weeks old, then they can go whenever the coop is ready.
Did any of us NOT make a trip to TSC for feed today? Lol!
Yes! I love the wheaten colors! I think mine will look like this one!
I'll keep an eye out.
I don't have clickables.. Plus this way I can make them say whatever I want. You need to click on the smileyemoticondudes instead of trying to type them out. You screw them up. :rollingmyeyesbackatyou
Oh it's a king-sized bed with just me in it, and dual temperature controls. So they were on the other half of the bed and far enough away from me - but still within arm's reach, and hearing range. Plus, it was PLENTY warm in this house last night, so I didn't need or want the electric blanket on me.@ChickDancer , good luck with your little peep patients. I dozed off with my little closed-eye runt chick on my chest last night, but i was afraid I'd squish it. I couldn't imagine two in my blanket! (My chick sometimes opens one eye at a time, but mostly they're closed. He's in with three younger chicks, and seems to follow them to the food and water, so his crop is staying full but I'm afraid he (or she)'s going to need a guide-chicken from here on out.
