. Oh thanks! I've seen him mentioned in a few different places but haven't really checked him out. I don't buy very often but I found an add for buckeye chicks and I need their mousing abilities. Thanks for the info thoughIf u need some body to buy from a little further south in Thomaston Ga go to chickinnkeeper.com and check out the different breeds he has supper nice guy to deal with
Haha, everyone always says cats don't roll in dirt, I have 3 that go against that!
I've never heard of a buckeye chicken until tonight when I seem it on this thread are they a cross breed don't know anything about them do they lay good
After my trip this month, I'm thinking I might need some of these magic buckeye chicks too; and another round of hatching BO eggs. My foray into Light Brahmas from TSC didn't turn out so well; only lost one, but they are really growing out oddly- all different sizes -and one is in permanent fluffy chick mode. My BO hatch dwindled to half after the squishing episode, so I don't have what i was hoping for out of my "dual purpose' coop. The EE flock build-up went nicely except for one cross-beaked chick, and she's small but feisty so I'm hoping she'll stick around. I'm also looking to add quail after we get back, so farm 2.0 is looking not too shabby so far. We'll see what happens with hubby's Garden 2.0 next...![]()
