I've got to get going on housework, go get my hair done, and then do farm chores, and then more housework. Phew!

@debgal If you wait a little bit, my BO batch will have some roos in it, and I sure won'T be keeping them.

Thank you. I just think DH is trying to be nice. But I will want a BO roo at some point!!!
 
I've never heard of a buckeye chicken until tonight when I seem it on this thread are they a cross breed don't know anything about them do they lay good


I had never heard of them before coming on this forum either. I think it was Robo or GAM that started talking about them and their mousing abilities. The mousing thing peaked my interest (having a rodent problem in my coop right now) and I did a little research. Like Robo said, supposedly they roar...a roaring chicken? That makes them that much cooler to me. They are also said to be extremely friendly. In researching them, I didn't find anything that wasn't what I consider to be great attributes for a chicken...and I REALLY need some mousers right now.
