Today is market day again and I dont NEED anything but if my friend can go I want to check out the bird row. Good to read dont by two frizzles to mate, hope they have polish otherwise im looking for chicks with feathered legs today. Suggestions? Again since names here arent the same I can only go by looks. The I got a 50/50 shot on male or females but hope my friend can help me with questions.
Any suggestions on how to set up a nice beginning to end design if I have limited yard space? I got another week til I can check out a possible house. 600m land wont be much but I can get creative with animal and garden needs. Otherwise ive got my inlaws returning today from surgery in jordan if flights are coming in.

How is everyone doing today?

So all of my McMurray Hatchery chicks that arrived alive are doing good and seem healthy. But I really REALLY hope they stay healthy for another three days, because I haven't had time to clean out the indoor brooder cage, and it's turning into a mess. Putting 22 chicks inside of it, plus the chicks that were already in it before they arrived, can make a huge mess.

I actually want to move them to an outdoor playpen with the rest of my chicks, but I need to clean that too. It's the one my sister's Cornish Rocks stayed in, and that pretty much sums up it's condition. And despite my two nieces and one nephew being on spring break, and her only working about every other day, they haven't bothered to touch it. And they probably won't, no matter how much I ask.

So I have to wait until my next day off (Sunday) before I can do anything about it. I'm just hoping the chicks can last that long...

Getting ready for work once again. It's going to be warmer today, but the amount of mail should be much smaller.

I have to sweep and clean out the back porch were I had the babies. When I went out to feed the chickens yesterday, well, I guess the storm was worse than I thought. My back porch storm door was laying on the ground about 10 feet from the house!!! It has particle wood as the core and was swollen and rotten,,,,,,,,,like I don't have enough to catch up on. I skipped my med this week, after the nasty stomach bug, I just cant take anymore this week. I have to much crap to do to feel like crap. I got the mini kitchen done, just have to hook up propane tanks to stove. I only had the solar panel to put up and fence around a triangle of trees in the back woods for a compost pile and I was done. I would love to spit out some four letter words but no one would see them
