YO GEORGIANS! :)

Woohoo! I love you Georgians! I'll be sure to post follow up pictures. I probably will stress over it until there is crowing or eggs.

Lol I'm a Tennessean but thanks hahaha at least you dont have mine although you wouldnt be worring about them being a roo or not. I have a 1.5 week old chick "crowing". its more of a sqeaky sqeaky sqeeeeeek that a cock a doodle doo but its definitely a tiny crow

Edit: I'd like to add that it does this at 3ish am every night along with various time during the day.

Speaking of which, I not quite sure how messy geese are. Mine have been with the ducklings since they were about 3 days old. Does anyone brood them separately, who can tell me if geese are just as bad?

I'm wanting to say they aren't, but then they ARE both water fowl. And I just can't tell since mine live together.

Oh my goodness. I don't know what I would do with that chick! I'm in South Carolina; just close enough and like the Georgians better...

I'm actually glad he is crowing because I need a RIR roo. But it can get quite annoying sometimes.

We really don't need any more animals waking us up all night long. Dogs and cats are enough! It is funny though. I bet he's working on his strut already!

yeah we have 3 dogs, 2 cats (who are both afraid of the tiny crowing chick), a turtle, 7 RIR hens, a GLW roo, 10 GLW chicks (hopefully no roos), and 4 RIR chicks. And 8 eggs today is day 21, and 60 eggs to set for the Cinco de Mayo HAL. Not to mention our 4 kids 6,4,4,and 5 months.
He is actually. He's one of the biggest, first too roost and very gentle and sweet. He cuddles under my hair on my shoulder
