It was a shock when I first saw it, to be sure. And I agree ... it is sad but also really interesting/cool. Figure that's about 5-6 days and look at how much has developed. Amazing.

Robo's Rhodebar hatching, round 2 ...

This time is going so much better. I guess it helps that we picked up the eggs ourselves and there were no detached air cells and no scrambled yolks. So far we have 7 pullets and 1 roo and 3 more pipped and 3 more that may still do something. Woohoo!
