I don't think the chickens will eat from it since you've called it a duck feeder. Chickens are very particular about only eating from CHICKEN feeders. They're sensitive like that dontchaknow.

And speaking of Rocky Rhodes.... GAM just brought in a few of the hatchlings from up around Cherry Log. They are feathering out quite nicely and becoming very pretty birds.

My Pilgrim Geese are due tomorrow. Which brings me to a question.. Are they supposed to be HATCHED by the due date or is the due date when we should expect internal pippage?

Hatched. But some breeds of geese take a bit longer than others.

I know my ducks start hatching before the 28 day mark but my understanding is that there are too many variables for it to be an exact science.
