YO GEORGIANS! :)

Wilkes County does have black bear, according to some hunters forums... Need to put that stuff in a bin now to keep stupid birds out?

Ok, this is for those GA's that like a good mystery.

We had a 20LB bag of ant poison granules sitting between our home and porch steps (We throw the granules out where we park our cars every year so the fire ants don't wind up in our cars) This morning as my DH left for work we noticed the bag of granules had been moved about 10 to 15 feet from where it had been sitting to a position on the other side of the steps and in front of the porch on the ground and it had rips in the bag. Something, not someone it seems moved it with teeth or paws/claws to it's new position.

What on earth could have moved this bag and why? I mean it's poison.

In my head I'm hearing the theme music from Twilight Zone...

Doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo....
The twilight zone...

(Okay I'm done)

I agree about the black bear. We left our barn door open one night and found that the 50 lb unopened bag of fish food, that happened to be under my husband heavy tool box, had been carried out the door, dragged up the hill and torn open and eaten! We could tell the bear then had wallered out a spot to take a nap before he went back home! So after that, this bear shows up looking for more dinner!

Tee hee hee......(found this photo on the internet)

Sounds like the theme from Jaws.

Ok...Y'all have me worried about bears now!

We had a bear break the door off the coop (only weak spot on our coop) and get in and killed 7 chickens and one duck. He originally went in to get the feed, I am sure, but bears are opportunist and saw all those chickens roosting there (night time) and decided to eat a few. There were only 2 eaten, the others probably died of fright. The chickens were so traumatized, they wouldn't go back to the coop to roost for several nights. I had to pluck them out of trees and put them back in. Poor babies. Now we have electric wire running around the coop.

GOOD MORNING, ON FRIDAY THE 13TH!!!

Oh, and we're supposed to have a full moon tonight, too.

Anyone superstitious? HAHA!
