YO GEORGIANS! :)

oh btw, i still cant tell if one of my EE's is a roo or a hen, that darn bird is so big but doesnt really have any waddles like my RIR roos. We are approaching egg laying age so we shall see what happens

I would say he's a cockerel. EE's and Ameraucanas don't really get waddles like other breeds. But I see a big comb, red shoulder feathers, sickle and hackle feathers and even some tail curl in the back, all of which point to a roo.

oh no!!! Boo! I was hoping Dorothy was just a big girl, waah. Now we have 3 roosters, ugh! All the birds that I have lost were all hens, go figure.

How can you tell?
Also on the EE how can you tell what color eggs? All my girls have white ears....Chance?
if any of them have single combs, they will most likely lay brown. It's hard to say until they start laying, but if they have a pea comb, you have a good chance of getting some shade of blue/green.
I have a purebred Ameraucana rooster over my EE hens, so all of my chicks should lay blue/green eggs. I don't keep any EEs that lay non blue/green eggs.

Too young to tell now Thanks I'll keep an eye out thought. One of them might be growing in a pea comb. I will prob be like you if they start laying a brown egg I will sell them

I know, rotten luck, right? I hatched 7 chicks this year and 5 turned out to be roos. Now I have 5 cockerels to sell soon or else I'll have to learn how to process a bird for the first time.

Your EE looks like mine. My EE is huge compared to the other EEs. I figured considering his size and ginormous feet that he was a rooster. I will find out next month for sure! I know that have ended up with lots of roosters. ;/ I will try and re-home as many as I can but not many people want roosters these days. I think that most of my Black French Copper Marans are roosters and several of my EEs are as well. The Buff Brahma's I am not sure about yet but I am sure that I at least have one....and the silver laced wyandottes are hard to tell. I could annoy every one and post 26 pictures of each one and we play a guessing game! lol JUST KIDDING!

Silver Laced Wyandottes are easy to tell the sex after they feather. The males will have a black 'collar' on the back of his neck. The females will continue with the black and white pattern.

Male on left has that black space on neck. Female on right.

You should be able to tell your FCM at 4 weeks. Look for the development of wattles.
