Quick advise question: Just put eggs under broody last night. Apparently this morning two other hens went into her nest box and laid eggs and while doing so, cracked one of the eggs. There is gooey all over most of the eggs.

Should I:
1. Wash the eggs and put them back under her? Yea, I know you aren't suppose to wash the eggs, but the bacteria from the gooey will probably kill the chicks at some later point.

2. Wash the eggs and eat them myself....they were fresh eggs from yesterday and the day before.

3. Put new eggs under her as soon as I move her to a private location and toss the old eggs (feed them back to the hens)

4. Will they be ok without washing?

5. Other advice????

Thanks.
