YO GEORGIANS! :)

We live in Dallas, GA.

Currently in our own backyard chicken fight for Paulding County to let us have a few hens in lots less than 5 acres. Go to "Pet Chickens in Paulding" face book and throw a like out there to show support.

We need your help on January 27 if you live anywhere near Paulding.

Would love to meet fellow chicken advocates.

No they are super positive about the event. That's what's weird, since they are negative people. Give them a donut and it's not the right kind. Give them orange juice and it has pulp. Shake their hand and your hand is sweaty. Yet this week they have all been excited about the animal swap.
that is most of the people that work retail. Glad I finally left after 15 years.

Just candled the 54 eggs crammed into my 40 egg bator. I am recycling 18 of them....They were not fertile. Will feed them back to the other chickens. There were 4 more that were iffy. I can look at those infertile eggs and know exactly who my roo is NOT banging! LOL! But, the nice thing is I have 4 fertile eggs in there from my Swedish Flower Hen, so if they hatch, they will be purebred chicks. They are kind-of rare and so much fun to watch feather out. They are one of those breeds that can be different colors! So, as of now, there are 36 eggs left but will probably be tossing those other 4 next week. Nothing new on Mamma. Of course, I still haven't seen under her!
