Right? I have the big/long metal one on the back porch that would hold tons.. But I like to keep them inside a few weeks first. I think I'll get one more Rubbermaid/indoor one and then start cycling them out.LOL! Maybe you need another brooder.

When will y'all move yours to the farm with a light? Or have you already?
Cool! I have 5 EEs. This is the thing. 4 of them lay blue/green eggs, 1 lays a tan egg. Two of the EEs came from the same parents however one lays a blue/green egg and the other is the tan egg layer. So does that mean that the tan egg layer didn't get the virus? Hmm...something to ponder.http://www.popsci.com/science/article/2013-09/find-blue-chicken-egg-congrats-your-chicken-has-virus
Read this today, kinda interesting

I need to go get another 1/2" 4'x8' sheet of plywood to make the bottom part of our brooder. We used the other one to make nest boxes out of for the barn coop. I have a studio inside our home that we will keep our future hatched/bought/ordered chicks. The last ones we got I wound up ordering 13 getting 12 then given 4 more so 16 fit in it fine until they were about 6 weeks old. I hope I don't wind up with 16 in the brooder at one time anymore but who knows.Right? I have the big/long metal one on the back porch that would hold tons..
