Awe! Love this part of chickens! I am getting so homesick. Miss all the cute little chicks. Oh, and my DGD, 6, just 'did' my hair. Trust me, you don't want pictures! Having fun with them, too.

Wow, the darker chick is feathering much faster? I didn't realize the difference in feathering to be so prominent. Thanks for the tip.

The red is a RIR the other is a BO. Same age and yes the RIR is feathering faster than any bird i've ever had.

Oh! And flower, I think I forgot to say.. I THOUGHT I was gonna e getting older AMs but she had some ~week-olds too and I opted for them. Reason being the older ones ALL appeared very upright to me.
