I sent flower pictures of my new chickens and she was just mean to me.

So we went to visit our new source today and got 5 Orpington chicks. Their mother is blue and their dad is colored like a legbar. I can't remember what that color is called. We got 2 red dominque hens. We are considering going back and getting the rooster and other 2 hens. We got 5 orpington eggs from the same parents and 8 naragansett turkey eggs. And we got 4 muscovy girls. 1 chocolate. 1 lavender. 1 black. 1 green/blue iridescent color. Depends on how the light is hitting her.

He also has a welsummer pair we are considering.

I do believe you're correct. You have GOT to go over there with GAM one day and see his orpingtons. They are beautiful HUGE birds. He also has a pair of coronation sussex. Talk about pretty birds. Maybe GAM can remember some of the other birds he has. We spent nearly 2 hours visiting with him both days we were there.

Does anyone keep Delawares?

My Delaware hen has a weird gait and I've seen her squat down when she's eating. Like her legs on the ground squat down. It's hard to explain. Is a weird gait a breed trait with them? She picks her legs way up when she walks. It looks like she's marching.

Is she in pain? If she is, I would like to end her pain. If she's not, I'm good with her being unique.
