YO GEORGIANS! :)

Are you wanting her to raise chicks?  If so, I would leave her on it.

I don't want my hens going broody, so I take the egg and force them out of the nesting box.
I want the eggs. Last night when I nudged her off it and reached in to get the egg she nearly took my hand off. Is there a good way to get her out of this habit?

So excited! My new larger incubator came early today. So it is washed and set up and almost ready for me to transfer eggs from the other incubator and then to lockdown the ones due to hatch this weekend! This is day 19 for them and I usually lock them down at day 18 but was waiting on the new bator. I didn't want to have to try to hatch 10 eggs in that mini again!!!

And, speaking of lockdown and the mini incubator, I went to transfer the two duck eggs I have in there and noticed that one is already pipping!!! (on duck day # 26) My little Runner X Khaki Campbell mix! So, I will keep the two duck eggs in the mini. I am glad now that I decided to just leave the chicken eggs in the old incubator untll today to see if the bator came in. Now, just sit and wait!
