YO GEORGIANS! :)

Hey all, I haven't been on here in forever! I have a beautiful easter egger roo about 1 year old, but it's time for him to go I think. He's just too aggressive towards me and there are not enough hens for him. I use to take my roos to a feed store in canton, but they closed. Can someone give me details on the next swap? Date and location? How its done? (never been before) Here's a pic if anyone wants him, he is free.

How accurate is 'leg size' as a method of sexing young chicks? I have some 2-3 week old silverlaced wynadottes and I think my favorite might be a boy. :/ It's legs are much thicker than one of the other chicks, same age and breed.

I believe Cliff said the next one is April 11 ... back at the McDonough TSC again.

Many thanks to Cliff, et al for hosting the madness. Hoping to make it back down for this next one.

@CliffB hey there, do you organize this swap in McDonough? Can you give me details, time, location, how it works? Maybe you can send me a private message? I just need to re home my easter egger rooster, thought maybe I could bring him there.

I had an aggressive roo, I used to catch him and embarrass him in front of the other chickens by carrying him around with me while I did my chicken chores, needless to say he steered clear of me. course just chasing him for a while makes them rethink things
