sounded like he to me on the YouTube siteIf it is "he" you'd think someone would have caught that mistake before they published it. I still like the commercial though.

The cone is my favorite. If you can find someone nearby to help, I think you'll be happy with it, given the circumstances. I have no problem with wringing necks but I can't personally do it with any forethought. Hubby is my neck wringer.
Good luck to you and I'm so sorry.
Have y'all seen this commercial? I'm trying to figure out if the man/farmer says he or she just keeps sending pictures. Sounds to me like he but this is a BO hen...

If a Rooster ever becomes part of the flock, he gets that name!

If y'all can believe it, MY husband was the one who caught it at our house! Scoffed at their ignorance, even! I was so proud! You are correct.. He does say 'he'. I told my husband right off that he was wrong, it was a 'she'! hahahha...
I'm good at catching snake mistakes on tv and in movies, too. Once, the bad guy had the good guy tied up and was threatening him with a snake. Bad guy told the good guy it was a deadly venomous snake and he was going to let the snake bite him if he didn't tell him where the money was......I was yelling at the tv. "Don't do it. Don't do it. That's not a venomous snake! That's a king snake not a coral snake!" The good guy got scared and told him what he wanted to know. Then the bad guy laughed and said, 'You dummy! This is just a harmless king snake!" HA! I knew it!If y'all can believe it, MY husband was the one who caught it at our house! Scoffed at their ignorance, even! I was so proud!![]()
ether will do the trickThanks everyone for your support. Unfortunately, I will have to do this alone so I'm a bit limited on my options. I am researching how to dislocate her neck. I really want to make sure it's humane. That's my biggest concern.
Has anyone ever heard of putting engine fluid on a rag and using it to euthanize because of the ether?
I know when I was breeding mice I used CO2 gas to euthanize them if I had to. It was pretty simple, and very painless for them if you do it right. I'm so sorry you're having to do this, it always sucks having to lose one. Thanks everyone for your support. Unfortunately, I will have to do this alone so I'm a bit limited on my options.
