Can you guys give me your methods for cleaning your incubator.....step by step.

I have been using a weak bleach solution. But, I am still getting some bad build-up by the time they are hatching.

I put mine in the tub and put dish soap on it.. Get hot water going and fill the tub a little and churn up the suds.. Add a little bleach but only if it's really gross. I use my hands to get the yuck off.. Then I rinse thoroughly, towel dry, spray an alcohol/water solution and let sit a minute, then blow dry.

:)

For the lid, I just dip a washcloth in the same water and wipe.

The alcohol solution idea I only started last cleaning and I really liked it. Helps all the hidden water evaporate so that my humidity is automatically normalized when I start it up again since I have quick turnovers. Remember I was having the very high humidity issue after washing..

I was telling my neighbor I was about to apply for the dealer broker license and he said might as well wait until June because that is when they renew. He had gotten his in May a couple of years ago and then had to renew the very next month. I don't know what they look like. Do they have a expiration date on them?
Mine is good for one year from date filed ... and it is March.

ETA - I just looked it up online and it does show ...
Expiration Date: 3/6/2016

Well my Isbar eggs arrived!!! So they are waiting until 11pm to placed in the incubator!!! I am so excited. I check the shells and all intact and no cracks or breaks. Air cells look good. Received 9 when I ordered 6! I love how generous people can be.

I have a story to share,it is really bothering me and I can't go steal this calf, but my friend called me and her Jersey had the calf and she needed help moving mom and baby to the pen so I went and they really wanted a heiffer well it's a bull, and it will be registered the mom has pedigree if that is how you say it in cow land. Anyway the DH came home and the conversation went something like this, well it's a bull, I'll get the hammer and knock it in the head we don't want to raise a bull. How long will we have to keep it (DW said) at least 6 weeks can't get rid of it until it is eating grain/grass. I know they have taken it away from mom to bottle feed and I said give it to me and her DH said no, now the reason I'm concerned is their dog was pregnant and he said when the pups are born he was going to do away with them and I said give them to me, his dog is a reg. lab and the dad (neighbors dog) was an american bull dog anyway we got a pup from the first litter beautiful big boy. But he did do away with the pups so I don't know if he was trying to get a rise out of me since he know how much I love animals, would someone really do away with a calf and not raise it to sell if it is a reg Jersey? I do chickens not cows so I don't knwo much about them, can you kill a calf with a hammer knocking it in the head, one blow?
Distressed in North GA
Yes you can if the calf is hit in the right spot but it is not human it could take more than one blow, does he know about spading then his dog would not be having a second litter that he does not want .If he does kill a bull that could be sold he has confirmed what I am thinking about him .

I have not checked about the bull, I'm hoping he was just trying to get a rise out of me but knowing his past animal experiences And on his dog he thinks why should he spend money because people can't keep their dogs locked up, but his dog is let loose when he is not home, he's definitely one of a kind, I really would have taken the bull even tho Jersey bulls are supposed to be really mean, he is pure breed someone will want him for their cows. Thanks to all who have responded, so if it takes a good knock in the head then I hope he wouldn't do it.
