YO GEORGIANS! :)

27 does go right past Newnan?? We just came that way from FL.. Maybe not THROUGH Newnan but close enough for me to avoid expressway death traps. And the part of Dallas where they live is close enough to Rockmart.. Which is close enough to Cedartown.. You catch my drift.

I prefer those kind of routes any time. Just me.

ahh, that's ALT 27 that goes through Newnan. I went that way with a camper last year right before the first snow storm taking it to a guy in Luthersville to put a new roof on. I think it runs from Carrollton, through Whitesburg, down to Newnan and ends there. Runs into US 29 and GA 34......Interesting that the powers that be thought we needed 3 major highways to start in Miami and come with in just a few miles of us, US 27, US 41 and I-75. Aren't we special, LOL

Anyway, we can get to dallas easy enough from where we are. I'm like you in that I'd rather take the scenic route when I can, I don't mind stopping at a traffic light in a little town.

Just bc I though I was going crazy..

Bandaged the little squirt's legs.. She can at least stand and preen a little.. But can't yet walk without help. I'm hoping she will at least get to where she can get around and eat.

Oh- and Papa Chaz, GAM spoke for the pullets on fb before I saw your post here. So you'll have to take it up with her.

it's ok, I'll find some later on. I really think I'd prefer to get some that are laying already, when mine start laying. Or wait and find some next spring to do some more chicks. I may very well try to hatch out some of my AMs and see what I get. My AM rooster and the black australorps should give me something interesting, shouldn't they?

My chickens are not happy with me today. About three weeks ago, DH and I were going to go out and unclog the ditch behind the coop that keeps the rain channeled away from the coop. Unexpected visitors arrived and we never did go back and finish the job. After yesterdays downpour here, there were 2 inches of rain in part of the coop! Poor wet hens! So, today, not many eggs in the nests! I don't blame them! Soooo, guess what we were doing today??
