Worked thru the drizzle all day. Here is how it ended up looking. Just need to add flowers to the box on the bottom right.

why in the world did you go to peachtree city for roofing tin? no place closer? there are TWO metal dealers across the road from each other here in Cedartown. About 2 1/2 miles from me Wouldn't it be closer to come to Cedartown than Peachtree city?Drove to Peachtree City today for roofing tin. Right at 54 miles from our place. About an hour and 20 minutes going back roads in the rain. So that'll give you an idea of time and distance if you live down that way.
My chickens are not happy with me today. About three weeks ago, DH and I were going to go out and unclog the ditch behind the coop that keeps the rain channeled away from the coop. Unexpected visitors arrived and we never did go back and finish the job. After yesterdays downpour here, there were 2 inches of rain in part of the coop! Poor wet hens! So, today, not many eggs in the nests! I don't blame them! Soooo, guess what we were doing today??
tried them first.... ZERO customer service. If they don't want my business, I will give my money to someone else.Drove to Peachtree City today for roofing tin. Right at 54 miles from our place. If I had anything, I'd send it your way, but I don't have kids and I never wore many dresses in middle school. We got off easy, too. My prom dress set us back all of $15, if I remember right! It wasn't that we were trying to save money, it was more that we found something absolutely perfect that just happened to be on clearance! This is totally not chicken related but does anyone have a formal dress appropriate for end of middle school dance that they're willing to sell for cheap? This sounds bad considering how much folks nowadays spend on them but my father got off easy paying $12 for my dress years ago. We've decided not to spend $50+ on this dance when high school prom is the biggie. I'll pay for shipping if anyone has something nice stowed away. Ebay has some good deals straight from China and Hong Kong but they may not arrive in time.
