I know Audrey's we get lunch there a couple times a month they are good people to .I will check the place out this week thank you for the info .

They aren't open Mondays or Tuesdays though there is some talk of that changing. Ariel and Doug are very helpful and if there is something that you want/need, as long as there is not a distribution/sales contract restriction (some feed companies make agreements with retail business not to allow anyone else within a certain distance to sell their products) they will get it for you. They had hay all through this last winter, even when other places didn't. And they charged a lot less for rounds than anyone else around that had decent hay.

Do you guys eat at Audrey's? They (and most of their family) were our neighbors for seven years before we moved out here. Love them and their family.

Have you tried any of the Ameraucana breeding clubs? They should have some good ones.

Ok I couldn't really respond yesterday as DH and I drove to Fla to get the roos, wow is the Black Australorp huge!!!! the auracana is a nice bird but BA now known as Nat (Nat king cole) and aurancan known as fox for (redfox) have a big red can't have two, we did a turn around trip and got home about 1:30, stopped along the way to get oranges and anything else that fell into my hands, so DH said that trip was worth for Nat.


Thank you so much to Ga for going and getting those babies for me!!

I don't have any pips yet but it is still early and momma banty is still sitting so everyone was fine when we got home last night and we certainly had a rooster duel going on with all the crowing things have really settled down, it will be a couple of weeks before Nat and Fox get out of their new homes.

I saw your post before you pulled the trigger. I thought MAYBE I could have stopped you but I was too skeered to get between you and new eggs. I am still recovering from the last time I tried to intervene with a chicken addict. Do you people have ANY idea just how violent flower can be?

DH just got in from business trip in CA last week. He had a long week and didn't get much sleep on the plane. I told him about the egg orders as soon as he came through the door. He is in dream land now. I will update y'all on if he remembers me telling him when he awakens. IF I don't get on later someone come look for my body please...
