ok just have taken the roast off the smoker, 208* internal temp, bone pulled out means it's done! Gonna give it 20 or 30 minutes rest then I'll pull it apart.

GAM, DW said she'll bring her crockpot....

Not sure how many said they're bringing buns, but this is going to wind up about 4 lbs of pulled pork
figure about 3 oz per sammich should be about 20 sammies or so? I'll weigh it when I get done. I thought originally it was more than that, but I obviously cut off more fat than I realized

ok last pic, since most of y'all have surely eaten supper by now, LOL

Little disappointed with the production, this roast was 8.17 lbs in the pack and only put out 3 1/4 pounds of BBQ... this should give us 16-18 sandwiches

With hotdogs, chips, tea, soda, katiedarlings side I think we will have lots of food, that looks like heaven can't wait to taste it, so how much did you taste? could that have anything to do with the yield

LOL a good cook ALWAYS tastes it..........

but no I didn't taste enough to have an effect on how much there is left, LOL

Hi everyone, I am a newbie from Marietta Ga. We are just starting out raising Chickens and Roosters. My son in law has raised chickens in Puerto Rico so he is excited to get started.
