Tell that to this rooster. I have always heard roosters were more tolerant to chicks.

I have had a roo like this somtimes if they are the only roo in the yard and he breeding he got more sense than people think he understands that they just maybe his chicks lol soo cute this picture.

Wooohooo we're up to 6 and so far 5 have the NN gene. We've got 2 black showgirls identical to daddy, 1 white showgirl identical to mama, 1 white/buff turken/showgirl, 1 buff/red turken/showgirl and 1 white silkied chick that doesn't have the NN gene. This is working out exactly as i had hoped. I didn't anticipate so many of the babies having the NN gene.
